We’re blessed at the farm to have our own limestone spring and a historic springhouse. When our grandpa Floyd Moore purchased the farm over 85 years ago, the old stone walls of the springhouse were already there, possibly even pre-dating the 180-year-old four-crib barn. But, in the years since, time hadn’t been kind to them, so our first order of business over the last four years was to restore the springhouse to its former glory. That project has been successful, and, with our springwater secure, we can now focus on building the distillery building itself.
