We’re blessed at the farm to have our own limestone spring and a historic springhouse. When our grandpa Floyd Moore purchased the farm over 85 years ago, the old stone walls of the springhouse were already there, possibly even pre-dating the 180-year-old four-crib barn. But time hasn’t been kind to them, so our first order of business has been to conserve what’s left and restore the springhouse to its former glory.
