Tennessee White Oak – Engineered Spirits

In early 2022, Second Intention Farm harvested timber on the property for the first time in many decades. Among the 200 hardwood trees harvested were 15 mature white oaks. These oak logs were sent to S&S Stave Company in Kentucky to be made into staves and, later on, barrels, exclusively for Engineered Spirits’ whiskey and brandy products.

These premium barrels will be a testament to our belief in using locally-sourced, sustainable resources to make our products as much as we possibly can.
